No need for over complication.
Handstitched with a 25lb breaking strength thread, Phil's Wallet uses just two strips of leather* & minimal sewing to maximize longevity.
Thinner stuffed than are most empty.
Just 3"x4" and under 1/8" thick. Two external card pockets capable of 10+ cards and a center cash wedge for
up to 20 American dollar bills.
Made to be abused.
No Special Care Needed.
My wallet has been though bicycle crashes, accidental hot tub soaks, and tossed out of a moving vehicle. It keeps coming back stronger.
*Leather Nerds Beware
This is not a full grain leather wallet. All of my wallets are made from 100% hand recycled leather. A uniquely textured but still extremely durable substitute. In addition to the many environmental benefits of using materials that would have gone to waste, I actually prefer
the feel of my wallets and find I can make them even thinner using my recycled leathers.
Is the cornerstone of our business. We hand recycle all of our leather locally, but we are running low on supplies. We need to hit the road
to find new sources to keep up
with the demand for our wallets.
A humble but worthy machine to
take Phil's Wallets to the next level. We will be touring through the States to find leather going to waste and turning it into wallets. Consider it a Mobile Wallet Battlestation. or MWB.

Frequently Asked Questions.
"We get that all of the time."
I recycle all of the leather by hand. I come across such a variety of colors that I could not possibly offer any kind of choice. I do however only use relatively neutral earth tone color schemes in my wallets. If you absolutely despise your color you can send it back at your own expense for a different color, no questions asked. Just email me first.
How long will shipping take?
The estimates through checkout are pretty accurate. Wallets typically leave my shop a day or two after purchase and from then it can take up to 7 business days priority and up to 2 weeks economy. International varies.
"So what the heck is recycled leather?"
Recycled leather is leather that I personally recycle by hand from a variety of sources where it would have otherwise gone to waste. No new leather will ever be put into production for any Phil's Wallet. That being said, I do have strict guidelines of what is acceptable. Only high quality leathers of just the right thickness make it to your pockets.
"What about this Guarantee?"
All wallets are backed by a five year guarantee protecting any defects that may have occurred as a result of an error on our end. This includes but is not limited to thread breakage, wallet un-stitching, and inferior materials.
Just send back the wallet at your own expense and we will replace it. No hassles. Include an explanation note.
I will try to get back to you as soon as possible. Keep in mind that in addition to recycling every bit of leather, and making every single wallet I also personally check every single email.
So be nice! :D Please include any relevant information if contacting in regards to an order placed. Full name and address is the most helpful to me. You will receive the quickest response through this form.
Thanks - Phil
Had mine for about 3 months now. Only problem is with dark denim the dye transfers over a bit. Built quality is great.
Definitely an upgrade over the fat wallet I had before. It holds my 7 cards just fine and I love it.
I can't get over how sexy this wallet is; it fits all my cards and is even thinner than my Mighty Wallet. If only I had money to put in it.
Stitching is Herculean. Craftsmanship is pragmatic. It's even picking up some nice grey dye from my jeans. Kicks more ass than any wallet has the right to.
I actually bought the first City Slicker that Phil sold online and after 2+ years it's still completely perfect. Absolutely durable and functional. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another, or buy one as a gift for anyone I know.
I decided to give this one a shot when I saw a post on Reddit about Phil's Wallets. I've been using it for months and it's still my favorite wallet. I'm considering buying a couple more when I get some extra cash.
Ordered mine about a year ago and it's still the best wallet I've ever had. You should get one!
Really excellent wallet, mine has aged nicely and regularly holds 10-12 various cards and occasionally a wad of cash. A few friends have picked up wallets from Phil based on just taking a look at mine. Here's a pic of mine with a tasty Friday afternoon beverage.
